A-bian is locked up in jail by Ma Ying-jeou

Former human rights lawyer, President Chen Shui-bian of Taiwan, has been unfairly placed in detention more than 230 days by Ma Yingjeou. Ma Ying-jeou has politically framed A-bian because he was an op-ponent of the KMT. This long term detention has not afforded A-bian the right to a fair trial.

A-bian is in poor health and needs medical treatment, now.

All men are created equal. The Taiwanese people have the freedo-m to advocate Taiwan independence. Allowing Chen Shui-bian to advo-cate for the independence of Taiwan will ensure a fair debate. The cur-rent situation only presents a one-sided view that Taiwan should be an-nexed by China .
